I always wanted a good set of knives and have finally found them. The most surprising thing to me with the balance of *each* knife. Incredible balance.

this set is very stylish, lots of compliments, and very, very sharp so be careful, also be away to not hurry when putting knives away as you could ding the metal plate for the larger knives, and there is a plastic insert for the steak knives. If you really want to see what these look like first hand go to Wal-Mart. They sell them there. yes i know if your like me you really do not want what every one else has, but alas for me i discovered them at Wally World after i bought them and had them in my kitchen for a week. they are the same price as here. So no deal buying them on line. buy some stainless steel polish or wax and use on the face plate where the lg. knives go. and keep away from the stove unless you enjoy const. cleaning the plate from splatters off the stove. Over all I thoroughly enjoy this set. it has everything i need and want. I even got rid of some knives in my drawer. They feel great in my hands and cut clean and sharp. despite finding this set at wal mart. i am very happy with my choice. at least i know where i can buy a replacement knife if i ever need one now. lol.
